DBN000353 - Independent Review Supervisor - Durban North Purpose of the Job: To oversee the preparation of Annual Financial Statements while ensuring quality, workflow efficiency, staff development, and compliance. Required Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in Accounting. Completed articles. Minimum 3 years’ experience in AFS preparation and review. Experience using GreatSoft. Technical Competencies & Experience: Prepare and review annual financial statements across various entity types. Ensure tax computations, trial balances and disclosures are complete. Plan, allocate and monitor AFS workflows, deadlines and team workloads. Train, coach and develop accountants to improve technical skills and independence. Resolve accounting, disclosure, tax and workflow issues. Oversee independent reviews and manage escalated client queries.
