Position: Junior Plant Superintendent Location: Polokwane / Pietersburg Industry: Mining JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a Junior Plant Superintendent to join our team in Polokwane / Pietersburg. As a key member of the operations team, you will report to the Production Manager and play a vital role in the day-to-day management and optimization of plant operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in managing and optimizing plant operations Monitor plant performance, production targets, recoveries, and quality Identify and implement operational solutions Work closely with production and engineering teams Maintain equipment and ensure reliable plant operation Manage operational teams and uphold standards of safety and discipline Develop a strong understanding of mineral processing JOB REQUIREMENTS We are looking for candidates with a background in Mining and a postgraduate degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Chemical Engineering. Key qualifications include Honours: B Eng (Mechanical), Honours: BEng Metallurgical, Honours: BSc Chemical Engineering. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE This role requires 2-4 years of experience in a similar position and the ability to make confident decisions during operational challenges.
