An established recruitment agency based in the Helderberg area is seeking to employ a highly organised and professional HR Assistant / Recruitment Administrator to join their team. This is a busy, varied role suited to someone who takes pride in producing accurate work, enjoys working with people and is able to manage several responsibilities simultaneously. The successful candidate will provide administrative and HR support to the recruitment team while also acting as an important point of contact for candidates and clients. We are looking for a dedicated individual with exceptional attention to detail, a strong work ethic and a high level of integrity. The ideal candidate will be a natural perfectionist who enjoys working in an organised environment and ensuring that tasks are completed accurately and professionally. Duties will include, but are not limited to: Answering incoming telephone calls Candidate liaison and general correspondence Scheduling interviews, meetings and appointments Typing, formatting and preparing CVs, reports, correspondence and other documentation Assisting consultants with recruitment-related administration Capturing and updating candidate and client information on the recruitment database General HR and personnel administration Data capturing and maintaining accurate electronic records Filing and document management Assisting with reference checking and verification administration where required Preparing candidate documentation and interview packs Monitoring and responding to general enquiries Providing administrative assistance to consultants and other staff members Assisting with general office administration Ensuring confidential candidate and client information is handled with discretion Performing ad hoc administrative duties as required Requirements: Matric Relevant post-matric qualification in Human Resources, Office Administration, Business Administration or a related field advantageous Previous administrative, HR or recruitment-related experience will be advantageous Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Own reliable transport and a valid driver's license Personal Attributes: The successful candidate should be: Exceptionally accurate and detail-orientated Highly organised and methodical Dedicated and dependable A perfectionist with high standards of work Able to multitask and prioritise effectively Comfortable working in a busy, deadline-driven environment Professional and confident when dealing with candidates and clients Friendly and approachable while maintaining professionalism Able to communicate effectively at all levels Proactive and willing to assist wherever required Discreet and trustworthy Able to handle confidential information with a high level of integrity A strong team player who is equally capable of working independently Please note: Only candidates currently residing in the Helderberg area will be considered for this position.
