The successful candidate will be a commercially minded finance professional with a strong technical foundation in IFRS, financial reporting, and consolidations. You will play a key role in ensuring financial integrity, strengthening governance frameworks, and providing meaningful insights that support executive decision-making. Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership & Reporting Lead the accounting and financial operations function across the business. Oversee the preparation and review of monthly management accounts and financial reports. Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial information. Deliver meaningful financial analysis and insights to senior leadership. Group Reporting & Consolidations Prepare and review group consolidations across multiple entities. Ensure compliance with IFRS reporting requirements and group accounting policies. Manage reporting timelines and ensure the delivery of accurate financial information. Support the preparation of annual financial statements and statutory reporting requirements. Planning, Forecasting & Performance Management Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Monitor financial performance against strategic objectives and budgets. Support business decision-making through detailed financial analysis and performance insights. Identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency, and overall business performance. Governance, Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax legislation, and statutory requirements. Strengthen financial controls, governance frameworks, and risk management processes. Manage internal and external audit processes and relationships. Ensure adherence to company policies and reporting standards. Leadership & Stakeholder Management Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Provide financial guidance and support to senior management and executive leadership. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Requirements Qualifications CA(SA) qualification (essential). Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience 5-8 years' progressive finance experience. Minimum 4 years' experience in a Finance Management role. Proven group consolidations experience ( non-negotiable ). Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards. Experience managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Demonstrated leadership and people management experience. Experience operating within complex, multi-entity structures. Highly Advantageous Commercial property, property fund, or REIT experience. Listed company exposure. Experience within large and complex group structures.
