Project Engineer Qualification Chemical / Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgy Degree. Project Management Qualification would be advantageous. Requirements Between 2 and 5 years of experience in the mining industry with multi-disciplinary engineering experience. Understand the mechanical components of grinding mills and other equipment and how these machines operate. Strong technical skills in engineering principles and practices. Periodic travel to countries neighbouring South Africa. Valid RSA Passport. Duties Required to manage his/her own projects in accordance with company's specifications and requirements. Responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines of ongoing projects assigned and to establish inspection criteria for the proper implementation of all the elements of a project. Management of Project cost, timing, scope, freight and site works. Understand the mechanical components of grinding mills and other equipment and how these machines operate.
