Well established manufacturing company based in Stikland has a vacancy for a Financial Manager with at least 3 -5 years relevant experience. The Financial Manager will work closely with management and other departments to support the financial sustainability and profitability of the business, while ensuring compliance with relevant financial, statutory and regulatory requirements . The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, effective budgeting and cash flow management, strong financial controls, and sound financial decision-making. Requirements: Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance Previous experience in a financial management role or in a senior finance role Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management Experience managing debtors, creditors and financial controls Experience working with auditors, banks and other financial stakeholders FMCG / manufacturing industry experience will be advantageous Duties will include, but are not limited to: Financial Reporting & Accuracy: Ensure accurate, complete and timely financial reporting, including effective management of month-end processes and reporting requirements. Budgeting & Financial Planning: Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, monitor financial performance against budget and provide meaningful variance analysis and management commentary. Cash Flow & Liquidity Management: Maintain adequate liquidity through effective cash flow forecasting and working-capital management. Cost Control & Profitability: Monitor operating expenditure, identify cost-saving opportunities and support initiatives aimed at improving profitability. Collections & Receivables: Oversee customer collections, debtor management and ageing to promote timely payment in accordance with agreed payment terms. Creditors / Accounts Payable: Ensure suppliers are paid accurately and within agreed terms, while protecting cash flow and maintaining positive supplier relationships. Bank Communication & Relationship Management: Maintain effective communication and relationships with banking institutions and ensure banking matters, facilities and documentation are managed timeously. Finance Requests / Funding Support: Coordinate and complete finance, credit, asset-finance and funding requests accurately and within required timelines. Compliance & Risk Management: Maintain effective financial controls and ensure compliance with applicable statutory, tax, audit and regulatory requirements. Management Reporting & Decision Support: Provide management with accurate, relevant and decision-useful financial information, analysis and insights. Finance Team & Process Leadership: Lead and develop the finance team, promote continuous improvement within finance processes and maintain clear ownership of financial controls and responsibilities In return a competitive salary is on offer.
