Are you a CA(SA) who enjoys operating at the intersection of technical finance and commercial decision-making? A leading organisation within a complex, asset-intensive industry is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of its group finance function. This is a high-impact opportunity for a technically strong finance professional who has solid consolidation experience, understands IFRS, and is confident leading a team while partnering with senior executives. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate group reporting, strengthening financial controls, driving budgeting and forecasting, and providing meaningful insights to support strategic business decisions. Key Responsibilities Oversee the full finance function, including month-end processes, management reporting and general ledger activities. Lead multi-entity group consolidations and ensure accurate IFRS-compliant financial reporting. Drive budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning and financial modelling to support business strategy. Manage internal and external audit processes, taxation matters, financial controls and governance requirements. Lead and develop the finance team while providing commercial and financial insights to senior management and executive stakeholders. Manage relationships with key external stakeholders, including banks, auditors and professional advisors. Minimum Requirements CA(SA) is essential. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related commercial field. 5–8 years’ post-articles finance experience, with at least 4 years in a Financial Manager role. Strong hands-on experience with complex group consolidations and IFRS reporting. Solid knowledge of taxation, governance, financial controls and statutory reporting. Proven people leadership skills, strong analytical ability and confidence engaging with senior and executive stakeholders. Highly advantageous: Experience within commercial property, REITs or property funds, exposure to listed or multi-entity environments, and hands-on experience with MDA Property Manager.
