SOFTWARE DEVELOPER Centurion - Irene R37 000 - R42 000 depending on experience Our client in the information technology sector is looking for a strong and passionate Software Developer to join their team Minimum requirements: A BCom, BSc or equivalent qualification in a relevant field will be advantageous 3–5 years of relevant software development experience Practical experience working within an Agile/Scrum development environment Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle and best practices Proficiency in C# and .NET Experience with .NET Web Forms and MVC 2.0 or later Working knowledge of ASP.NET, including Web API and Windows Services Strong understanding of HTML5 Experience developing and integrating RESTful services Ability to design and structure data models effectively Exposure to ACUCOBOL-GT would be advantageous, although not essential, with a willingness to learn considered sufficient Genuine enthusiasm for software development, technology and creating effective solutions Main duties: Develop and implement high-quality software solutions that support business objectives and create measurable value Take full responsibility for assigned projects and development tasks, from initial planning through to successful completion Promote the use of modern, scalable and innovative technologies to continuously improve development standards Gain a strong understanding of business requirements and customer needs to deliver effective and reliable solutions Identify opportunities to streamline, automate and enhance internal systems and client-facing services Proactively monitor and maintain systems to support high availability, stability and optimal performance Build and maintain secure, robust and scalable applications in line with technical and business requirements Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, technologies and service delivery Consultant: Karlia v Eeden - Dante Personnel Greenstone Apply via our website www.dantesa.co.za If you do not hear from us within 5 days, please accept that your application was unsuccessful
