Driver Code 10 & 14 DGP position available in Gauteng for a Contractor. Driver Code 10 & 14 DGP Position Details: Location: Tshwane (Pretoria) Job Type: Contractor Duties and Responsibilities: Operate company vehicles requiring a Code 10 & 14 driver's licence safely and responsibly. Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Transport and deliver goods to customers, branches, warehouses, and other designated locations. Ensure goods are correctly loaded, secured, transported, and offloaded. Complete delivery notes, trip sheets, inspection checklists, and other required documentation. Verify quantities and condition of goods before and after transportation. Report vehicle defects, accidents, delays, or incidents immediately to the relevant supervisor. Maintain accurate records of fuel usage, mileage, deliveries, and vehicle-related activities. Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and in good operating condition. Adhere to company policies, health and safety requirements, and applicable traffic legislation. Maintain professional relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues. Assist with loading and offloading when required. Perform reasonable additional duties related to logistics and transportation. Minimum Requirements: Valid Code 10 driver's licence. Valid PDP & DGP Minimum [3-4] years' experience as a professional driver. Good knowledge of local and regional routes. Good understanding of road safety and traffic regulations. Ability to operate and perform basic checks on commercial vehicles. Good communication and customer-service skills. Physically fit and able to load/offload goods. Clean driving record.
