About this role
Keep ICT projects organised, moving and on schedule. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with technical teams, project managers, clients and other stakeholders — and who is not afraid to follow up when a deadline starts getting ideas of its own. The position is an office-based role at a well established technology business based in Sandton. The role offers exposure to a variety of technology and business-system projects, with plenty of opportunity to take ownership and grow project management skills. Duties / Key Responsibilities Coordinate ICT, technical and business-system projects from planning through implementation and handover. Support project managers and technical teams with schedules, actions, resources and deliverables. Help define project scope and turn requirements into clear, workable plans. Track timelines, milestones, budgets and project progress. Arrange meetings, activities and resources needed to keep projects moving. Follow up with stakeholders and drive outstanding actions to completion. Identify risks or delays early and escalate them before they affect key milestones. Prepare project updates, reports, presentations and supporting documentation. Maintain accurate project records, document control and version management. Communicate project requirements clearly across technical teams, clients and other stakeholders. Requirements Around 3–5 years' relevant project coordination or project management experience . Experience in an ICT, technology-driven or technical project environment is strongly preferred. Comfortable coordinating several projects and priorities at the same time. Strong working knowledge of MS Project . Good MS Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint . Strong written and spoken English; Afrikaans would be an advantage. Able to work independently, manage pressure and keep deadlines moving. Valid Code 8 driver's licence or equivalent . Experience in complex technical, industrial or power-related projects would be useful but is not essential. Education Relevant tertiary qualification, ideally in a technical, engineering, ICT or related field . A recognised project management certification would be an advantage.
