A leading organisation within the specialised transport and logistics industry is seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join its finance team in Centurion. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who is confident managing the bookkeeping function through to trial balance and enjoys working across a broad range of accounting responsibilities. The successful candidate will take ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping, AP, AR, reconciliations, month-end processing, financial reporting and statutory compliance, while ensuring strong financial controls and accurate financial records are maintained. Duties & Responsibilities: Manage the full bookkeeping function up to trial balance Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Perform bank, debtor and creditor reconciliations Process journals and assist with month-end close Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records Assist with VAT and statutory compliance requirements Qualifications & Skills: Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field Minimum 5 years' bookkeeping experience Xero Accounting Software experience essential Strong Microsoft Excel skills Experience managing bookkeeping through to trial balance Strong AP, AR and reconciliation experience Exposure to VAT and statutory compliance Previous transport or logistics industry experience essential If you're an experienced Senior Bookkeeper looking for an opportunity where you can take ownership of the finance function and make a real impact, apply now!
