About this role
This is an opportunity for an experienced compliance leader to take ownership of a Senior Compliance portfolio within an international banking environment. You'll lead a team across compliance monitoring, regulatory change, governance and compliance risk management, while strengthening the bank's compliance framework. Working closely with the Chief Compliance Officer, executive management and regulators, you'll provide senior oversight, drive regulatory initiatives and ensure the bank remains aligned with South African banking requirements. 5–10 years' Compliance Management experience in Corporate Banking BCom Law or higher + Postgraduate Diploma in Compliance Management essential Proven experience leading and developing Compliance teams/functions in a corporate banking environment. Strong knowledge of South African banking regulations and compliance risk management Experience across compliance monitoring, assurance, regulatory reporting and regulatory change Strong policy and procedure development, with legal/contract review exposure advantageous Excellent leadership, executive stakeholder management and regulatory engagement skills As Specialist Recruiters for professionals in your industry, we are well geared to represent your best career interests.
