Expeditor / Buyer Location: Kempton Park Salary : R22 000 - R26 000 CTC Per month Minimum requirements: Relevant tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Accounting, or a related field Previous experience in buying, expediting, logistics coordination, international supply chain, or procurement Experience dealing with international suppliers and freight forwarders will be advantageous Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong computer literacy and experience working with ERP systems Key Responsibilities Manage international purchase orders from placement through to delivery Coordinate with international suppliers to ensure orders are confirmed, available and shipped on time Monitor and maintain accurate shipment information, including delivery dates and shipment status Liaise with Freight Forwarders regarding collections, documentation, freight costs and shipment progress Identify and manage surplus orders, stock-outs and potential supply delays Obtain freight estimates and prepare landed costings for imported products Maintain accurate supplier and shipment information on the ERP system Monitor supplier and Freight Forwarder performance and address recurring delays or service issues Assist with supplier negotiations, sourcing and identifying alternative suppliers where required Communicate proactively with the COMOPS Team regarding shipment delays or revised delivery dates that may impact monthly revenue Consultant: Keshara Junkoon - Dante Personnel Midrand Apply via our website www.dantesa.co.za If you do not hear from us within 5 days, please accept that your application was unsuccessful
