Van Assistant Needed in Centurion - Pretoria Join Our Team as a Van Assistant Position: Van Assistant Seniority Level: Professional Type: Contractor Location: Centurion, Pretoria About Us We are looking for a dedicated Van Assistant to support our operations team in the safe and efficient delivery and collection of goods. Key Responsibilities Assist the driver with daily deliveries and collections according to the planned route and schedule. Load and offload goods safely and efficiently. Check goods against delivery notes, invoices, picking slips, or other relevant documentation. Ensure products are handled carefully to prevent damage or loss. Assist with maintaining good customer service and secure goods inside the vehicle. Help navigate delivery locations and obtain proof of delivery. Report damaged, missing, or incorrect goods immediately. Assist with returns, exchanges, and collection of goods as needed. Rate: R50.46 Per Hour Minimum Requirements Previous logistics, warehousing, or delivery experience beneficial. Good physical health and ability to lift and move goods. Flexible working hours and meeting delivery deadlines. Strong communication skills and customer service orientation. Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures.
