Restaurant Franchise with Head Offices based in Woodstock is looking for a Head of Training. Duties: Class Facilitation/ Facilitation Training: Facilitation of different classes. Facilitation of practical (in store) or theoretical classes (classroom). Writing of the course material for classes. Yearly Training Planner: Planning and scheduling of training for throughout the year. Includes internal and external training (sponsored training). Effective tracking of all training that took place within the Group per employee in order to do effective reporting. Franchisee training planners and brand packs i.e. SOP, Systems and Procedures. To be affected. New Store Opening Training: Brand specific staff training. Management training on company systems and procedures i.e. Kissflow, Magicbox, Micros, E-Learning Platform. Full team training on audit procedures and systems. Arranging support facilitators in store i.e. bar and coffee. Overall operational support for opening week. Company Induction Programme: Once a month induction for new employees including company overview. Systems and procedure training with new joining managers. Company organogram. Growth potential. Yearly Workplace Skills Plan Submissions: Tracking and meeting WSP targets for specific year. Submission yearly by end of April. Ensuring records are accurately kept. Managing External Training Sponsorship (i.e. DEG): Constantly updating and managing DEG budget every year. Effective meeting of contract requirements s per original agreement for sponsorship. Compiling effectiveness of sponsored training. Effective reporting to sponsorship as per contractual obligations. Ensuring that maximum funding potential is achieved. Performs additional responsibilities as per operational needs and per Management request. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 5+ years in training and development, including 3+ years in a leadership, managerial, or supervisory role within the hospitality / restaurant industry Professional certifications like Certified Professional in Training Management (CPTM) Accredited Assessor/Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) credentials Ability to align learning and development (L&D) strategies with overall company goals and business objectives. Ability to oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of comprehensive training, onboarding, and leadership programs. Advanced knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital e-learning platforms. Strong team management, budgeting, stakeholder engagement, and executive-level reporting capabilities.
