Financial Systems Consultant Sandton R 360 000 - R 480 000 Eager to meet a client-focused Financial Systems Consultant to join a growing consulting practice that delivers financial software solutions to organisations across various industries. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong exposure to financial systems, accounting software, ERP platforms, and business process optimisation. The successful candidate will work directly with clients to understand their business requirements, configure solutions, provide training, and support successful system implementations. A key requirement is the ability to quickly learn new software platforms and become a trusted advisor to clients throughout the implementation and support lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Consult with clients to understand financial and operational business requirements. Lead and support the implementation of financial and ERP software solutions. Configure systems to meet client-specific business processes and reporting needs. Conduct business process reviews and recommend best-practice solutions. Facilitate workshops, user training, and knowledge transfer sessions. Provide post-implementation support and client relationship management. Troubleshoot system issues and work with technical teams to resolve challenges. Assist clients with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical requirements. Maintain detailed implementation documentation and project updates. Required Experience & Skills Essential Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business, or a related field. Minimum 3 years' experience working with financial software, ERP systems, or accounting packages. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. Experience engaging directly with business stakeholders and end users. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong presentation, facilitation, and training capabilities. Ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
