Our client is a well-established and growing business operating within the Retail & FMCG sector, and they are looking for an experienced Financial Manager to take ownership of the financial function and contribute to the continued success of the business. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment and enjoys being hands-on while partnering with key stakeholders across the business. Key Responsibilities: Full oversight and management of the financial function, including reporting, budgeting and forecasting. Drive accurate and timely monthly management accounts and financial reporting. Ensure strong financial controls, reconciliations and compliance across the business. Partner with external and internal auditors to maintain high-quality financial standards. Analyse financial performance and provide meaningful insights to support strategic decision-making. Manage cash flow, working capital and overall financial performance. Lead and develop the finance team while ensuring high levels of accuracy and accountability. Requirements: 10+ years’ experience within a senior finance environment. Proven experience in Retail, FMCG or a fast-paced commercial environment. Strong understanding of financial reporting, controls and management accounting. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to work independently while taking full ownership of the finance function. A proactive, commercially minded approach to finance.
