A respected and established player in the property sector is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join its finance team. This opportunity is ideally suited to a recently qualified CA(SA) with 3-5 years' post-qualification experience and a strong understanding of property finance. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing financial reporting, strengthening controls, driving operational efficiencies, and delivering meaningful financial insights to support business decisions. Key Responsibilities: Manage the financial control function across a diverse property portfolio. Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports. Lead month-end and year-end close processes. Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and financial reviews. Monitor property-related income, expenditure, and overall financial performance. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and internal controls. Coordinate audit requirements and liaise with external auditors. Provide accurate financial analysis and commercial insights to management. Partner with operational and property stakeholders on financial matters. Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, reporting, and control. Job Experience and Skills Required: CA(SA) qualification is essential. 3-5 years' post-qualification experience. Proven experience within the property industry. MDA and MRI systems experience is non-negotiable. Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills.
