📍 Western Cape, Cape Town (Northern Suburbs) 💰 R1.1 Million – R1.3 Million per annum An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Financial Manager to join a leading manufacturing business and partner closely with operational and plant leadership teams. This role is ideal for a commercially minded finance professional with strong manufacturing, costing, inventory, and business partnering experience who can drive operational efficiencies and support strategic decision-making. Minimum Requirements BCom Honours in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent CA(SA), CIMA, or similar professional qualification preferred Minimum 5 years' experience in a manufacturing or factory environment Strong experience in stock management, costing, and inventory control Proven experience with manufacturing reporting and operational finance Advanced Excel skills Syspro ERP experience highly advantageous Strong analytical, reporting, and business partnering skills Experience working closely with operational, supply chain, and manufacturing teams Key Responsibilities Partner with plant and operational management to provide financial insight and support. Prepare and present monthly management accounts, operational reports, and performance analysis. Analyse manufacturing KPIs, inventory movements, production efficiencies, and cost drivers. Monitor stock, wastage, fuel consumption, and factory costs against budget and targets. Conduct detailed variance analysis and provide actionable recommendations to management. Drive costing accuracy and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Evaluate and assist with capital expenditure projects and business cases. Assist with month-end reporting, manufacturing provisions, and ongoing financial controls. Support strategic initiatives aimed at improving profitability and operational performance.
