About this role
Manage daily site operations, coordinating resources, personnel and contractors while ensuring safety, quality, compliance and operational efficiency. Requirements Grade 12 / Matric – essential NQF Level 6 National Diploma in Mining – essential NQF Level 7 Mining / Engineering qualification advantageous 3–5 years’ site or operations management experience in mining or materials handling Strong leadership experience Proven materials handling experience, including coal stockpile management, sloping and feeder loading Knowledge of Permit to Work, Risk Assessments and Method Statements Computer literate – MS Office Valid driver’s licence Ability to work independently, under pressure and on shifts/standby By submitting any Personal Information to MPRTC in any form you acknowledge that such conduct constitutes a reasonable unconditional, specific and voluntary consent to the (processing and storing of such Personal Information by MPRTC and/or MPRTC’s clients and/or verification information suppliers.
