Commissioning Technician - Job Vacancy Location: Lephalale , Limpopo JOB PURPOSE We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commissioning Technician to perform commissioning, testing, fault-finding, and verification of instrumentation, control systems, components and solutions on site. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that equipment and systems are correctly installed, tested, commissioned, and handed over in accordance with project specifications, safety requirements, and client expectations. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform commissioning of components, systems, and solutions on site. Conduct field loop checks and fault finding. Perform instrument calibrations and instrument quality checks. Conduct fault finding from the control system through to the final control elements. Plan commissioning activities and ensure work is completed according to project schedules. Prepare accurate commissioning reports, test results, and supporting documentation. Identify faults, deviations, and potential problems and assist with corrective actions. Verify that equipment and systems operate correctly and according to design specifications. Provide technical guidance and support to commissioning teams where required. Maintain accurate records of completed commissioning activities. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Grade 12 / Matric. Relevant Instrumentation, Electrical, Process Control or Engineering qualification/trade certificate. Proven experience as a Commissioning Technician. Experience troubleshooting systems and reading technical drawings. Good computer literacy and ability to complete commissioning documentation. Valid driver's licence. Ability to work extended hours, shifts, weekends, or shutdown periods. Must be willing to travel and work at client sites. EXPERIENCE Minimum: 3-5 years' relevant commissioning/instrumentation experience. Experience in PLC/SCADA systems, DCS, industrial automation, and project industries is advantageous.
