Working Hours: Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 16:30; Friday 08:00 – 15:00 Job Overview: Our client is looking for a Power BI Developer / Business Intelligence Analyst to join their Business Intelligence department. The successful candidate will develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, analyse data and translate business requirements into practical reporting solutions that support informed decision-making. Minimum requirements: Relevant tertiary qualification in: Informatics; Data Analysis; Statistics; Business Intelligence; or a related field. Alternatively, equivalent practical experience in Power BI and data visualisation. Minimum 1 year's practical experience in Power BI development. Ability to develop Power BI dashboards end-to-end, from data preparation through to final reporting. Practical experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service. Experience in dashboard design and data visualisation. Basic to intermediate knowledge of DAX. Knowledge of data modelling. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Self-motivated, reliable and detail oriented. Advantageous Experience with KPI and management reporting. Strong Excel data analysis skills. Good understanding of business processes and reporting structures. SQL scripting experience. Duties will include but are not limited to the following: Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports. Translate business requirements into visual and functional reporting solutions. Analyse data and provide meaningful business insights. Improve existing dashboards and reporting systems. Support data-driven decision-making across the organisation. Work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements. Ensure dashboards and reports are accurate, relevant and user-friendly. Assist with business intelligence and data analysis requirements. The following will form part of the interview and assessment process: Development of a practical Power BI report/dashboard.
