Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and insightful monthly management accounts and financial reporting packs. Manage the full fixed asset function, including additions, disposals, depreciation, and reconciliations. Assist with VAT compliance and statutory reporting requirements. Prepare and review journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Drive an accurate and efficient month-end close process. Investigate financial variances and provide meaningful commentary on results. Support financial controls and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities. Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to improve financial processes and reporting. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function Job Experience and Skills Required: BCom Accounting, Finance, or a related qualification. Approximately 3+ years' experience in a Financial Accountant role. FMCG industry experience will be advantageous. Strong financial reporting and month-end accounting experience. Solid understanding of fixed asset accounting and reconciliations. Experience with VAT, statutory compliance, and balance sheet management. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
