Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines. Develop and optimise data processing solutions using Python and SQL. Integrate data from multiple sources and ensure high levels of data quality and integrity. Design and maintain data models and schemas that support analytics and reporting requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions. Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve data infrastructure performance. Support cloud-based data initiatives and modern data architecture projects. Implement best practices for data governance, security, and performance optimisation. Job Experience and Skills Required: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 4+ years' experience in a Data Engineering or similar role. Proven experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines. Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Exposure to Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or ClickHouse. Experience working within cross-functional and collaborative technical environments. Skills: Strong Python development skills for data processing and pipeline development. Advanced SQL querying, transformation, and optimisation capabilities. Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Apache Airflow, Talend, or similar. Strong understanding of data modelling and schema design principles. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
