Are you a SAIPA or SAICA qualified accountant looking for your next career move? Our client, a dynamic organisation operating within the Financial Services / Technology sector, is looking for two Financial Accountants to join their growing team in Sandton. This is far more than a reporting role — you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of the full finance function, work across multiple entities within the group and play a key role in ensuring strong financial governance and accuracy. What you’ll be responsible for: Managing the full accounting function from transaction processing through to financial reporting. Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports. Managing reconciliations, journals, accruals and balance sheet reviews. Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis. Managing payroll processing for entities within the group. Supporting statutory, audit and compliance requirements. Working across multiple entities and ensuring accurate intercompany accounting. Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls. Providing meaningful financial insights to management. What you’ll need: BCom / relevant Accounting degree – essential. SAIPA or SAICA qualification – essential. 2–3 years post-articles experience. Strong exposure to the full finance function. Experience within Financial Services, Technology or a similar environment will be advantageous. Payroll exposure. Strong Excel and financial reporting skills. Experience with Sage Business / Sage Intacct / QuickBooks / Pastel Partner or similar accounting systems. Excellent attention to detail and a hands-on approach.
