Are you a qualified accountant with strong costing experience and a passion for driving accurate financial reporting? Our client operates within the agricultural sector, specialising in the development and commercialisation of innovative cultivars and varieties. The business works across the local and international market, partnering with growers and industry stakeholders to bring high-value fruit varieties from development through to commercial production, while also managing the intellectual property associated with these cultivars. This is an opportunity to join a growing, commercially focused agricultural business that plays a unique role in the fruit production value chain and has an international footprint. Minimum Requirements B.Com Studying towards CIMA will be advantageous Strong cost accounting experience Experience within an operational environment will be advantageous Sound knowledge of IFRS and SME compliance requirement Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and accounting records Perform budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis Manage cost accounting and monitor operational costs Assist with month-end reporting and reconciliations Ensure compliance with IFRS and relevant statutory requirements Analyse financial results and investigate variances Provide financial insights to support business decision-making Key Skills & Competencies Excellent analytical and numerical ability Strong attention to detail and accuracy Sound IFRS and compliance knowledge Commercially minded with strong problem-solving ability Ability to work effectively in an operational environment Are you a confident, analytical and innovative accountant?
