Are you a commercially minded Management Accountant who enjoys turning financial data into meaningful business insights? Our client is a well-established South African manufacturing business specialising in polymer processing and the production of extruded and moulded plastic products. The business serves a diverse customer base across multiple industries, with operations spanning the African continent and selected international markets. With a strong focus on innovation, quality and customer service, the organisation has continued to expand its manufacturing capabilities and product offering over the years. This is an opportunity to join an established, technically driven manufacturing environment with a strong emphasis on operational excellence and long-term customer relationships. Minimum Requirements Bcom 3–5 years’ relevant experience in a Cost Accounting environment Proven experience within a manufacturing environment Strong costing and financial analysis experience Strong understanding of management accounting principles Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyse management accounts and financial reports Drive accurate costing and cost analysis across manufacturing operations Analyse financial performance, variances and key cost drivers Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes Monitor CAPEX expenditure and evaluate financial performance Provide commercial insights to support operational and strategic decisions Identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for improved financial performance Partner with operational teams to improve financial visibility and accountability Key Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and numerical ability Excellent costing and financial analysis skills Commercially astute with strong business acumen Advanced problem-solving and critical-thinking skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to interpret complex financial information and communicate insights effectively Confident stakeholder engagement skills Are you ready to take your management accounting expertise into a role where your financial insight can directly influence business performance?
