A leading organisation within the specialised transport and logistics industry is seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join its finance team in Centurion. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who is confident managing the bookkeeping function through to trial balance and enjoys working across a broad range of accounting responsibilities. Duties & Responsibilities: Manage the full bookkeeping function up to trial balance Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Perform bank, debtor and creditor reconciliations Process journals and assist with month-end close Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records Assist with VAT and statutory compliance requirements Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies Maintain effective financial controls and accounting procedures Qualifications & Skills: Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field Minimum 5 years' bookkeeping experience Xero Accounting Software experience essential Strong Microsoft Excel skills Experience managing bookkeeping through to trial balance Strong AP, AR and reconciliation experience Exposure to VAT and statutory compliance Previous transport or logistics industry experience essential Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy Ability to work independently and meet deadlines If you're an experienced Senior Bookkeeper looking for an opportunity to take ownership, add value and make a real impact, this could be the opportunity for you.
