DBN000358 – General Manager – Musina Purpose of the job: To manage and improve the agricultural and production performance of a large-scale commercial citrus operation Required Qualifications: Degree or diploma in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture or a related discipline advantageous Substantial managerial experience in Commercial Citrus production preferred Technical Competencies & Experience: Solid and demonstrated technical and practical citrus expertise Experience leading and developing farm and production managers Evidence of improving yield, fruit quality, pack out, productivity and/or cost performance Strong practical understanding of citrus agronomy Experience operating budgets and financial performance Familiarity with export citrus quality and market requirements Effective management of water resources, irrigation infrastructure and equipment Maintaining and embedding citrus compliance standards and requirements in the operation Ability to maintain stakeholder relationships while protecting operational and commercial interests Behavioural Competencies: Strong planning and execution disciplines Excellent leadership and managerial skills Comfort operating within a structured KPI, budgeting and reporting environment Please Note - Should you not hear back from us within the next 2 weeks, please consider your application as unsuccessful.
