If that sounds like you, you'll fit right in. Key Responsibilities: Take ownership of the full accounting function and ensure financial accuracy across all processes. Manage and process payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution. Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports. Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances. Maintain the General Ledger and oversee month-end processes. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and statutory requirements. Review financial data and provide meaningful insights to support decision-making. Support leadership with ad hoc financial reporting and analysis. Drive continuous improvement within finance processes and controls. Qualifications & Experience: BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification is required. 5 - 8 years of relevant accounting experience. Articles are advantageous but not required. Manufacturing industry exposure will be beneficial but is not essential. Strong experience with Pastel and/or Sage Payroll is essential. Payroll experience is non-negotiable. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities. Resilient personality with a professional approach to pressure and deadlines. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
