A well-established legal practice in Lynnwood, Pretoria East is looking for an experienced Legal Secretary with solid Vehicle and Asset Finance litigation experience. This is a busy, high-volume role suited to someone who knows banking litigation processes well, works quickly and accurately, and can manage tight deadlines without needing constant supervision. The role offers exposure to specialised VAF matters, regular interaction with major role players in the recovery process, and the opportunity to join a professional team where strong administration and turnaround times matter. Duties / Key Responsibilities Draft affidavits, summonses, Section 129 notices and other banking litigation documents. Manage a high-volume workload of approximately 30 matters per day. Liaise professionally with banks, debtors, Sheriff offices and other relevant parties. Monitor matters closely and ensure strict turnaround times are met. Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is handled correctly. Work confidently on VAF litigation and legal practice management systems. Requirements 4–6 years’ experience as a Legal Secretary specialising in Vehicle and Asset Finance. Strong practical knowledge of banking litigation and VAF recovery processes. Experience using Ghost Practice, VAF Legal and CACS. Experience with My Attorney will be an advantage. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Strong administrative and communication skills. Able to work independently in a demanding, deadline-driven environment. Education Relevant legal secretarial or administrative qualification would be advantageous. Strong practical VAF litigation experience is essential. Soft Skills Calm and organised under pressure.
