Background: Exciting career opportunity within a leading manufacturing company for a Production Coordinator to drive the production process within the factory Minimum Requirements: Matric/Grade 12 Certificate A Technical, Manufacturing, Engineering or Production-related qualification will be advantageous Previous experience in production co-ordination, planning, production supervision or factory operations Experience monitoring production progress against schedules and required completion dates Ability to identify and actively manage production bottlenecks, delays and constraints Experience co-ordinating Shop-Floor teams and/or production personnel Understanding of production flow, work-in-progress and handovers between production stages Proficient on Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Projects Responsibilities: Drive the production schedule/production plan Coordinate daily production priorities Task and direct the relevant Shop-Floor Leads Monitor production progress against the project plan Ensure production activities remain aligned with required completion dates Follow work through from start to completion Identify and address bottlenecks Coordinate handovers between production stages Escalate issues that may affect delivery, quality or schedule Coordinate fabrication, assembly and electrical activities Maintain visibility of work in progress Ensure production priorities remain clear to the shop floor Support effective utilisation of available skilled labour Coordinate the movement of production units through the manufacturing process Support the Factory Manager in maintaining overall production control Ensure quality check sheets and processes are adhered to TO APPLY: Only if you meet the minimum job requirements and experience as mentioned above, you may submit a detailed updated CV.
