Background: A leading manufacturing company is looking for a Production Coordinator (Admin) to ensure that production activities are prepared and aligned with the production plan Minimum Requirements: Matric/NQF Level 4 equivalent minimum A technical, Manufacturing, Engineering or Production-related (CO2) qualification will be advantageous Previous experience in production, administration, supervising, co-ordination or planning Experience with purchase orders, parts, stock and material tracking Experience coordinating with Procurement, Suppliers and internal departments Ability to obtain and follow up on supplier ETAs and outstanding requirements Ability to work with technical drawings, BOMs, job cards and production documentation Proficient on Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Teams Ability to work to project plans, production schedules and required completion dates Ability to identify shortages, delays and readiness issues and escalate them promptly Ability to work collaboratively with Production, Design/Drawing Office, Procurement, Stores and Suppliers Responsibilities: Maintain production readiness in line with the project plan Ensure required materials and components are available when required Track purchase orders, parts and Supplier ETAs Co-ordinate with Design/Drawing Office regarding required production information Liaise with Procurement regarding outstanding purchasing requirements Liaise with local Suppliers regarding order status and delivery dates Prepare and maintain job cards and production documentation Coordinate picking and sorting of production components Maintain consumables paperwork and production records Support accurate production information and readiness reporting Administer the production staff clocking-in system Identify potential production interruptions before they occur Provide the Production Co-ordinator: Factory and Factory Manager with accurate and timely information TO APPLY: Only if you meet the minimum job requirements and experience as mentioned above, you may submit a detailed updated CV.
