Citrusdal area, Western Cape Province – South Africa: The Operations Coordinator – Packshed, Sales & Hospitality is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the packshed, assisting with flower sales, customer communication, freight and export logistics, while coordinating the hospitality operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring efficient operational planning, excellent customer service, effective communication and smooth day-to-day business activities across both the agricultural and hospitality divisions. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Diploma or Degree in Agriculture, Logistics, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or a related field will be advantageous. Valid driver's licence. 2–5 years' experience in agriculture, logistics, hospitality, customer service or operations. Previous supervisory or team coordination experience will be advantageous. Experience in export logistics or freight coordination will be advantageous. Experience managing guest accommodation or hospitality operations will be advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask across several business functions. Ability to perform well under pressure during seasonal peak periods. Excellent time management and prioritisation skills. Customer-focused with a professional attitude. Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook and Word). Experience with FreshPortal, Floriday or similar flower export systems will be advantageous; however, full in-house training will be provided. A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
