Operating as a key strategic partner to senior executive leadership, you will hold total operational accountability for group reporting workflows, complex multi-entity consolidations, statutory tax governance, and rolling FP&A models. Key Responsibilities: Financial Operations & General Ledger Governance: Direct end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring absolute trial balance integrity, robust internal controls, and accurate monthly reporting packs. Group Consolidations & IFRS Compliance: Lead and review complex multi-entity group consolidations, upholding strict compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and statutory regulations. FP&A, Budgeting & Strategic Forecasting: Drive enterprise budgeting cycles, rolling cash flow forecasts, and financial modeling frameworks to evaluate performance and support long-term growth. Audit Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Oversee internal and external audit engagements, strengthen risk governance frameworks, and manage relationships with financial institutions and regulatory bodies. Team Leadership & Executive Insights: Mentor, lead, and develop a dedicated finance team while translating complex operational datasets into clear, actionable business recommendations for executive leadership. Job Experience and Skills Required: Professional Designation (Non-Negotiable): Active qualification as a Chartered Accountant CA(SA) is an absolute prerequisite. Academic Background: Completed Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related commercial discipline. Experience Track Record: 5 to 8 years of progressive, reference-backed post-articles finance experience. A minimum of 4 years operating directly in a Financial Management capacity. Technical Domain Competencies (Non-Negotiable): Proven, hands-on experience executing complex group consolidations is a strict requirement. Deep, practical knowledge of IFRS technical reporting, taxation, budgeting, and variance analysis. Non-negotiables: Demonstrated people management capabilities, elite analytical problem-solving skills, and the polished communication confidence required to engage effectively with C-suite stakeholders. Highly Advantageous Criteria: Specialized experience within commercial property, property funds, or Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs). Prior exposure to publicly listed corporate environments and complex multi-entity group structures. Hands-on system experience operating on MDA Property Manager ERP software.
