Minimum Requirements BCom + Honours SAIPA, CIMA, or completed articles would be advantageous. 5+ years’ experience in financial accounting within an operational environment. 1–2 years’ supervisory or team leadership experience. Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting principles. Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs. Experience with Power BI and financial reporting tools. Experience working with multiple currencies and international stakeholders would be advantageous. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports. Assist with consolidated financial reporting across multiple entities and locations. Process journals, accounting adjustments and balance sheet reconciliations. Review financial information, identify variances and investigate discrepancies. Prepare supporting commentary and insights for management reporting. Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting and financial planning. Support statutory reporting, tax-related submissions and regulatory requirements. Prepare audit schedules, supporting documentation and respond to audit queries. Produce regular financial and functional reports for senior management. Liaise with finance teams and non-financial stakeholders to explain financial results and trends. Support improvements to accounting processes, controls and reporting workflows. Contribute to finance projects, including automation and reporting enhancements. Review work and provide guidance, training and support to junior accounting staff. Ensure financial processes and reporting remain aligned with applicable accounting standards and internal policies. Key Skills & Competencies Strong financial accounting and reporting expertise. Excellent analytical and numerical ability. Advanced Excel and data manipulation skills. Power BI reporting and data visualisation experience. Strong understanding of financial controls, reconciliations and variance analysis. Experience working with large volumes of financial data. Process improvement and workflow automation exposure. Ability to work across multiple entities, currencies and stakeholder groups. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to engage confidently with finance and non-finance stakeholders. Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Self-motivated, resilient and able to work independently. Ability to mentor and support junior team members. High level of professionalism, integrity and accountability.
