Are you a sharp Cost Accountant ready to make a real impact on a large-scale manufacturing plant? My client, a market-leading manufacturer, is recruiting for a Cost Accountant. This organisation has been in existence for almost 40 years. As they continue to grow and evolve, they are looking for a talented Cost Accountant to join our esteemed team and contribute to their legacy. As a Cost Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate tracking of costs to support strategic decision-making processes. Your insights will be integral in optimizing the manufacturing processes and enhance profitability. Duties: Maintain accurate standard cost structures across all product lines. Audit and validate Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, and landed costs. Track actual vs. standard cost variances Manage inventory valuations across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods. Coordinate stock counts, variance reconciliations, and stock provisions. Complete month-end manufacturing journals, subledger reconciliations, and cost inputs for annual budgets. Education and experience: BCom Accounting and CIMA At least 5 years in a similar role Working in a factory environment is essential If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
