Financial Accountant | Up to R 516 000.00 | Roodepoort This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who wants to be hands-on across the full finance function, take ownership of financial reporting and play an important role in supporting the business. 💰 THE ROLE You’ll take responsibility for a broad range of financial accounting functions, ensuring the business has accurate, timely and meaningful financial information to support decision-making. 🔑 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 📊 Financial Reporting Preparation of monthly management accounts Preparation of annual financial statements Month-end and year-end processes General ledger management and reconciliations Financial analysis and reporting 💼 Full Finance Function Accounts payable and receivable oversight Cash flow management Budgeting and forecasting VAT and statutory requirements Balance sheet reconciliations Maintaining strong financial controls Supporting audits and external stakeholders 🤝 Business Support Working closely with management and operational teams Providing financial insights to support business decisions Identifying discrepancies and resolving financial issues Improving financial processes and controls 🎯 THE IDEAL CANDIDATE ✔ BCom Accounting degree ✔ Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles ✔ 3–5 years post-articles experience ✔ CaseWare is an Advantage ✔ Strong financial accounting and reporting experience ✔ Experience preparing financial statements ✔ Comfortable handling a full finance function ✔ Strong Excel and accounting systems knowledge ✔ Detail-oriented, organised and deadline-driven ✔ Commercially minded with a hands-on approach ✔ Someone who wants to grow with the business and become a key member of the finance team If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
