Regional Technology Manager R 420 000 CTC Work from home and really contribute to the betterment of local disadvantaged communities Cape Town The Manager will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our technology infrastructure and network environment. The successful candidate will ensure reliable IT operations, provide support to technical staff, oversee technology projects, and help shape the organisation's ICT direction. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain the organisation's ICT infrastructure and networks. Monitor system performance, security, and availability. Support and supervise ICT staff and service providers. Lead technology implementation and improvement projects. Develop and maintain ICT policies, procedures, and standards. Coordinate technology support across multiple locations. Ensure timely resolution of ICT incidents and service disruptions. Provide strategic input into technology planning and decision-making. Non-Negotiable Requirements Applicants must meet all of the following requirements: Relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, Systems Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years' experience in an ICT, networking, infrastructure, or systems support environment. Previous experience managing or supervising technical staff. Strong understanding of network infrastructure, Microsoft environments, and end-user support. Valid South African Code B driver's licence. Own reliable vehicle and willingness to travel to sites when required. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Access to stable, reliable high-speed Wi-Fi/internet suitable for full-time remote work. Dedicated home-office workspace conducive to professional virtual meetings and collaboration. Work Arrangement This is a predominantly work-from-home position . While the role offers flexibility, occasional travel to operational sites, meetings, and stakeholder engagements will be required.
