Join a growing property investment and management business! An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Financial Accountant to join a dynamic finance team responsible for a diverse property portfolio. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of monthly reporting, financial analysis, fixed assets, intercompany accounting and year-end processes while working closely with senior finance leadership. Key Responsibilities: Prepare month-end journals and financial reconciliations Analyse general ledger and balance sheet accounts Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports Perform detailed variance analysis against budgets Manage intercompany loan reconciliations and related journals Maintain the fixed asset register, capitalisation and depreciation Prepare balance sheet reconciliations Assist with budgeting and cash flow reporting Support annual audits and tax submissions Prepare quarterly reporting schedules Drive continuous improvements to finance processes and reporting Assist with finance projects and ad hoc reporting Job Experience and Skills Required: BCom Accounting degree Minimum 4 years' experience in a Financial Accountant role Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles advantageous Property accounting experience highly advantageous Experience on MDA or similar property management software advantageous Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Apply now!
