Are you a hands-on Bookkeeper looking for an opportunity to grow your career while gaining exposure to multiple entities? A professional and growing organisation is looking for a Bookkeeper to join their finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day bookkeeping and financial administration of a group of companies, working closely with senior members of the finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working across multiple entities and is looking to take on increasing responsibility within a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Bookkeeping Manage the full bookkeeping function up to Trial Balance . Process and reconcile bank accounts. Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable . Maintain the General Ledger and perform reconciliations. Process journals and assist with month-end procedures. Assist with the preparation of management accounts. Payroll Process monthly payroll using Sage Payroll . Maintain accurate employee payroll records. Ensure payroll is processed accurately and in accordance with relevant requirements. Statutory & SARS Compliance Prepare and submit VAT returns . Prepare and submit EMP201 returns . Manage SARS eFiling administration and submissions. Assist with general statutory and compliance-related financial requirements. General Finance Administration Assist with financial reporting and month-end requirements. Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation. Liaise with management and external service providers when required. Provide finance support across multiple companies/entities. Job Experience and Skills Required: Bookkeeping Certificate or equivalent qualification. 3–5 years' bookkeeping experience . Proven experience working in a multi-company or SME environment . Pastel Accounting experience – essential. Experience processing payroll using Sage Payroll . Practical experience with SARS eFiling, VAT and EMP submissions . Experience assisting with management accounts. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Apply now!
