This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being hands-on across the full transactional finance function. Working closely with the Financial Manager, you’ll take ownership of key bookkeeping and Accounts Payable responsibilities across multiple entities while gaining valuable exposure to a dynamic finance environment. A growing organisation in Centurion is looking for a skilled Senior Bookkeeper to provide hands-on bookkeeping, transactional finance and administrative support across two entities. This is a 6-month contract opportunity with the possibility of renewal for up to a further 18 months , making it an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking to gain valuable exposure within a busy and diverse finance environment. Duties & Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day Accounts Payable function Process and accurately allocate high volumes of supplier invoices Reconcile supplier statements and prepare payment schedules Capture and reconcile daily DHL transactions and related payments Prepare General Ledger, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations Resolve supplier and internal finance queries Provide bookkeeping and transactional finance support across two entities Assist with month-end processing and reporting Prepare supporting documentation for audits, tax and compliance Assist with ad hoc finance duties and projects as required Qualifications & Skills: Minimum 4 years’ relevant bookkeeping or transactional finance experience Strong hands-on Xero experience essential Strong attention to detail and accuracy Manufacturing or inventory-based experience advantageous SAD500/customs-related accounting experience advantageous Multi-entity and intercompany accounting exposure advantageous Own reliable transport essential If you’re an experienced Senior Bookkeeper looking for a hands-on opportunity where you can add value immediately, gain valuable multi-entity exposure and potentially extend your contract, this could be the opportunity for you.
